This is an imposing black marble garden statue of a face, hand carved by local craftsmen. Our face statues are influenced by the well known Easter Island face carvings. This black abstract statue stands on a small yet secure base in comparison to the overall size of the carving. The face begins wider at the forehead and then gradualy tapers inwards by the time we reach the chin. Our ornaments eyes are deep set and could even be perceived to be closed as if deep in thought. It has a long angular nose and there appears to be a hint of a smile. It is a black marble statue of someone deep in thought.
